Can you say pokey? The hedgehog is a totally defensive animal with its
sharp spines along its back and sides and even on its forehead! When
threatened, the hedgehog curls up into a ball, tucking its soft underbelly, feet
and face in the center with all the spines pointing out. It also makes a
huffing or hissing sound to go along with its pokey persona. All this to
say, "You really don't want to mess with me!" |
