Red-bellied Piranha
Serrasalmus nattereri

With its razor sharp, interlocking teeth that can shear a mouth-sized chunk off of anything it bites, piranhas are predatory fish that live in the tropical rivers of Central and South America.  However, the description above is all most people think about piranhas.  In fact, they are not the aggressive, flesh stripping carnivores that movies have made them out to be.  They can be somewhat shy and reclusive.
